Marquetry Inlay Veneer Half Sunburst Compass Rose Star.

On this piece I used A spectacular piece of PIPPY YEW. These days pieces of this size and quality are hard to find. But having been in this business for 38 years I have my supply.

So for the background I used The PIPPY YEW, interspersed with the Yellow and Green Points.

I then used a Wenge or Swirl Mahogany for the Centre Semi-Circle and the in-between points.

This stunning piece was made by hand saws and scalpels.
