PERSONALISE with you own words in this Beautiful Marquetry Inlay Nautical Compass Design.

The veneers I have used are:

Satinwood for the centre, with Sycamore and Black for the points, set into a Circular Rosewood Crossband.

I then used more Satinwood and made the circular Crossband, with Sycamore to highlight your words. Another Satinwood Banding was made for the outside of the Sycamore.

You can have any Veneer for your wording.

I the made a Circular Crossband using Rosewood with Satinwood for the 'N' and 'S', followed by another cross banding to finish using Satinwood to finish.

The top crest was made with Satinwood, Sycamore, Red and Blue. I then added shading where necessary.
