Item No. 146. Nautical Compass Star.

One beautifully cut Compass Star Design Marquetry Inlay, with Decoration at North.

I have used a black for the gull into Burr Oak. Beach for the line with Birds Eye Maple and Black points.

I then used Boxwood for the lettering into Elm. With a Burr Walnut line and Birds Eye Maple and Black points, again into Elm.

To finish I used a further black banding with an Aformosia banding and black line. Finally I used Satinwood for the Banding.

For the top decoration I have used Burr Oak with Sycamore and Pear Wood.
